Cala Jóncols honey from the end of June onwards

25/05/2015

Following the initiative commenced this season of placing emphasis on Km0 products, from June onwards the Cala Jóncols restaurant will offer its own honey to the guests staying at the hotel or dining at the restaurant. It will be honey from the bees that pollinate the flowers of the Roses cove, located near the municipal district of Cadaqués, in the heart of the Cap de Creus Nature Park. In April the establishment installed six hives with the collaboration of Felip Berta, the well-known producer of Cala Montjoi, and the first honey will be ready for tasting from the end of June onwards. It will be Thousand Flower honey originating from different varieties of Mediterranean flowers, with the flavour of the sea, tranquillity and nature, the elements that define this cove.
