Cala Jóncols earns the MedDiet seal of quality


The Cala Jóncols restaurant has received the prestigious MedDiet seal of quality which certifies that the establishment offers an authentic Mediterranean diet in its al la carte and set menus.

This seal assesses and certifies restaurants which provide customers with a menu range based on the use of olive oil as the main source of added fat, as well as the use of local and seasonal produce, the preparation of dishes following traditional recipes in tune with the Mediterranean diet, clear nutritional information for the customers and activities which promote the benefits of healthy eating.

The requirements for earning the certificate have been drawn up by an expert committee of six members who are specialists in commercial brands and certification and production standards for MedFood cuisine.
